I’ve been watching Strange New Worlds and I finally made it to the crossover episode in season two. We need to give a giant thank you to Bradward Boimler for (hopefully) breaking up Spock and Chapel. Because holy shit was that pairing FORCED.

Like, she has genuine chemistry with Ortegas! Let’s get them together! Stop using one soupy moment in one TOS episode to force Spock into a relationship with another woman. AND GIMME MORE QUEER TREK RELATIONSHIPS. Good lord, people. It’s a ship full of humans and aliens and not everyone is gonna be in heterosexual relationships for crying out loud.

Also, I really like T’Pring. They made her a very sympathetic character. But she gotta go in order to make way for the holiest of holies: Spirk

Update for anyone who's seen this recently. The Get it Away From Me would also include La'An x Spock. I stopped watching SNW as soon as I saw the episode where they dance. I'm so fed up of ST marketing itself as progressive/woke and not actually being progressive/woke at all.

(Also least favourite pairing for me means the one that's last on my favourites list. It does not mean most hated. Those are two different things.)
