It's not real evil they have to destroy, it's someone innocent and it turns into a moral dilemma

The status of being the chosen one isolates and destroys them

To save the world they have to sacrifice who they love - and they are not ready for that

The person who grew up as the chosen one, never actually was the one in the prophecies

They were just chosen, because they were thought to be easily manipulated

They were never chosen to save the world, they were chosen to destroy it
