Can you draw a Choupique?
fish 34 - choupique/bowfin
I wish I had gotten the jump this fish did on camera, it was impressive
I spend a lot of time Bowfin fishing, and I have got to say I’ve caught a lot of fish but Bowfin might be the most underrated fish ever. All of these fish fought like dogs, made a mad dashes for weeds and jumped. I couldn’t ask for a more fun fight
This little bowfin looked like he had just eaten a popsicle
Big bucktail streamers are a surefire way to trick Bowfin into biting
Easily my favorite fish to catch on the fly! They are such an amazing, prehistoric fish
It was a good day to be fishing in the lily pads catching some very scrappy backwater fish
