Isn't it funny when you keep seeing an artist, and realize they've done so much work on stuff you've been a fan of all your life? From my childhood books to shows, to art books and current fav shows, Chris Battle has been very busy all his career! I decided to do a study of his art style (particularly the style in the show Dan Vs!)

To celebrate 18 years of The Powerpuff Girls Movie (and I saw the TV spots in 2002), here’re some of the best character designs involving the Townies of Townsville... and, of course, the unforgettably talented @cartoonnetwork Studios team! Thanks for the reminder, @chrisbattleart! @donshank @crackmccraigen @andybialk

Honestly: with all of these new Townies designed for this one episode/movie of The Powerpuff Girls, it’d make sense for Nick Jennings & Bob Boyle to reflect these Townies in the last 3 nostalgically incorrect seasons. For that matter, these Townies don’t appear so much if at all in Seasons 5-6 of the series, either.
