(1995) Cutthroat Island
extremely arpy orchestral
i find myself enjoying the uh... canterburriness I guess? lol
mostly the Spittalfield-adjacent pieces
this post is sounding very british innit
(1995) Foreman for Real
the incredible snes soundtrack squished to 3 square waves... and it still slaps
(1996) Cutthroat Island
a game based on the movie. i have no idea how much of it is original, especially noting that Martin Goodall is credited specifically for “music conversion”...
attribution aside, it’s so-so orchestral. some of the tunes arent even that bad, I’m just not a fan.......
my favorite used song is probably “Treasure Chamber”
(1995) Foreman for Real
this is some of the best guitar sequencing for snes that ive heard since tim follin.
combine this with some DELICIOUS bubbly synths for flavor, and yeah i love this
“Select Boxer” is a good pick for a highlight but so is basically the entire soundtrack
(1994) Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball
tim follin!
that’s his style of guitar work, yep.
it’s not his strongest work, but it’s still good.
(1994) Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage
this really embraces the guitar / rock feel, and it does a pretty decent job, even if I’m not much of a fan.
“Heated Battle” is super good though.
(1994) Tin Star
western. cowboys. spaghetti.
yeah i’m not a fan but this is objectively well done.
well ok, one exception: I really like “Out in the West” which is just too fun to ignore
