Calvin Harris' latest album is unfinished. No, I don't mean the disc contains the signs of abandonment, but the platter promises a sequel and we still haven't gotten one yet. Of course, the LP could join the ranks of something like Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy. True, Mr. Harris didn't tinker on his collection of songs that long, yet there's a sense of wait-there's-more present here. You see, Axl Rose claimed Chinese Democracy is a part of a trilogy, yet nothing happened after this. Besides, I don't think we might see the next instalment, since the classic lineup of the group returned. Sadly, I might add, because Chinese Democracy remains for me a frustratingly fascinating listen. Mr. Rose wished to do EVERYTHING on this one, though I must say – he got there on some moments.
