Album Number Sixty “Off the Shelf” is the debut album by Batdorf & Rodney. They were an early-1970s folk rock duo consisting of #johnbatdorf and #markrodney My copy is a gatefold album on #atlanticrecords - SD 8298 This 1971 debut boasted a bang-up back-up band of bassist #chrisethridge drummer #johnbarbata and Muscle Shoals keyboardist #barrybeckett and made the charts, with the song “Can You See Him” getting the most airplay. The two began performing in the summer of 1970 in Las Vegas. They toured extensively with many of the most famous acts of the 1970s. Their tours included playing at Carnegie Hall.
