Doctor Who?
my all-time ultimate fave character: Martha Jones. She’s strong, completely human, has the most realistic reactions, and takes little to no shit from the Doctor.
a character I didn’t used to like but now do: Amy Pond. People like to peg her as “the gullible ginger”, but she’s a sharp and brilliantly crafted character whose arc was possibly the last well-written arc in the series.
a character I used to like but now don’t: Clara Oswald. I wanted to like her (mainly because of the eggplant comment), but her potential was wasted af.
a character I’m indifferent about: There are very few characters I’m indifferent about - I even care about Mickey Jones - but I’m going to have to say River Song. She wasn’t very compelling IMO.
a character who deserved better: MARTHA JONES.
a ship I’ve never been able to get into: Rose/Ten.
a ship I’ve never been able to get over: Ten/Capt. Jack Harkness.
a cute, low-key ship: Martha/Shakespeare.
an unpopular ship but I still enjoyed it: Martha/Happiness And Validation.
a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: *whispers* rose/ten
my favourite storyline/moment: The Shakespeare Code, season 3.
a storyline that never should have been written: Mostly anything by Moffat; most of season 6.
my first thoughts on the show: “This looks like a weird student film. But I’ll give it a try.”
my thoughts now: “Boy, the Brits sure have a tendency for creating entirely engaging dynasties that eventually spiral out of their control.”
