To That Girl

To that girl, The girl that has that one guy. No one else can compare to him. Sure there are other guys you see But for you, this guy outshines them all. And all you want is to see him happy. All you want is to hear him laugh. To see his smile and take in every detail of him. He is always on your mind and and you'd do anything to make sure he felt special. But sadly, he doesn't feel the same for you. Maybe you're not his type. Maybe you're not "pretty" enough. Maybe he likes someone else. Maybe he gave up on you. Maybe...maybe...maybe... Question. Do you really want to hold on to someone who may or may not like you? Or rather. Do you think so little of yourself that you feel you don't deserve so much better? Christ paid a very steep price for your heart. Even before you were born. He saw the beautiful woman you would become. He saw the best in you when the world would only point out your flaws. He went out of His way to pursue you. To make you feel loved. He knows every single detail about you. The way you laugh. The way you brush your hair. The way your eyes light up when you mention your favorite hobby. He made you unique and special. HE made you. Not that guy. So why would you want a man who cannot see you like Christ sees you? Why would you want a man who won't pursue you but set you on the chase for him? Why would you want to beg for scraps and suffer just to be noticed? Because you love him? Sweetie love wouldn't make you beg. Love wouldn't make you feel like you aren't enough. Love wouldn't make you feel like any less than the princess you are. You are so much better. So much braver. So much stronger. And you deserve the man Christ has for you. As painful as it is, let that boy go. It will hurt but I guarantee Christ is more than willing to heal that heart and make you whole again. You are worth so much more! 💕
