I think this may be the most misquoted and/or misunderstood scripture. I believe the key is to remember “He Will show you a way out.” In order for us to See that way out, we need to open our hearts, mind, ears, and eyes to see it. How about you? Today I was reading in Colossians chapter 1. It was speaking about Christ and the Atonement, but in fewer words. - - - On my mission, that was something that became very prominent in my life. As I read "Jesus the Christ" by James E. Talmage I was able to more fully understand the amount of anguish the Savior went through for ME! - - - I had always thought the Savior just suffered in Gethsemane, that when Judas came to betray Him the Atonement was over, but that was not the case. - - - Jesus Christ suffered from the garden until His mission was complete. Through the trial and the crucifixion He was in pain. Doesn't that mean something more to you? - - - I found out that Christ suffered in the garden for three hours, and that made me think about church. - - - I have a hard time with Relief Society. Always have. So I haven't been that frequent, but I have been better lately. I just thought "If Christ suffered three hours for you, can't you give three to Him?" - - - I really need to work on doing better at having that mindset. I tend to get into a rut and turn inward, and that's not what you do. - - - He is there to help. That's literally ALL that He ever did was help people His whole life and continues to do to this day. So when life is hard and you feel like giving in, turn to Him. He is there. ALWAYS. - - - Be bold. Be brave. Be beautiful. Talking about our problems is one of our biggest problems when you really think about it. We talk, stress, overthink, and cry over our problems instead of turning directly to Him.
