For just $5.00 This is winter recreated. It's a heavenly blend of a warm, crackling wood fire blended with the crisp, clean scent of Frasier fir, pine, and balsam. This is a great scent to pair with a fake Christmas tree. Perfect for: Any room 8-9 ($15) oz burns approximately 45+ hours. This size comes in tin or glass jars. Please specify. My candles and tarts are created using the best organic ingredients and high-quality oils for a non-toxic candle that's not only highly scented but safe and free of environmental and breathing concerns. Soy burns at a lower temperature, so they last longer and burn clean. My products are handmade in my kitchen and individually labeled by hand. Since soy wax is a natural material, each candle may have its own look and/or texture. BURNING YOUR CANDLE When you light your candle for the first time, I recommend burning until a full melt pool has been reached. This will prevent tunneling and increase the burn time of your candle. Soy wax is considered a memory wax, and will only burn to the point of the initial burn. After every burn, once the wax has cooled use your fingers to break off the top burnt part of the wick. A wick that is not trimmed may create burning issues. SHIPPING: In stock items ship within 1-3 days. If something has to be made, it could take a little longer. Deer Tallow candles. I melt the tallow down, let it stay melted for a while to dry out any water it contains, then strain it through a screen teastrainer to filter it. Then i pour it into these little glass jars and put a wick and 12 drops of cedarwood oil in each. The front row were just poured, back row were poured 20 minutes before. . . . Were i in the wilderness instead of my kitchen, mollusc shells, any discarded container, or a small depression dug in clay or sand can make a serviceable candle mold. A wick can be any piece of natural cordage or cotton string that is dry and dipped in wax, or a thin sliver of resin-containing pine or juniper. The nice thing about a candle is that it will light even if it's wet, and you can hold twigs and other small tinder/ kindling in its flame until they light, which can be harder to do with a lighter. I have sometimes lit a tealight and then built a bonfire over it. . . 🕯🎄Yuletide means “Christmas Spirit” so I wanted to create a Yuletide candle that represented just that! When I think of Christmas I think of my family and my families traditions. One of our biggest Christmas traditions revolves around delicious food and we are known for going a little overboard. I come from a family of fisherman, craftsman, cooks and cake makers so there’s always plenty of delicious food around, especially during the holidays. I always say, what separates a house from a home is what’s inside the oven! Mulled cider on the stove, gingerbread and sweet meat pies in the oven. Pomanders and snowy mittens on the wood stove and plates of cookies, bars, cheese and crackers on every table~that’s Christmas in my home. Strung cranberries and popcorn on all the trees outside, fresh garland and wreaths inside~that’s Christmas in New England. Fish chowder, steamed lobster and boiled dinner with bowls of chestnuts~that’s Christmas in Maine!✨I hope this Yuletide candle helps bring back happy Christmas memories along with making new ones!
