I’m just so confused

My friend said that we at most have to write 10 facts and explain on that but I thought I heard at least, so I messaged my teacher and I’m praying that he responds quickly, I don’t want to do too much seeing as how we have to write it tomorrow during class and tomorrow is a SHORT DAY, and if I write too much I wont have time to finish. ;-; whyyyyy

I don’t get people who defend the confederate flag but say they arent racist they never seen to be able to answer these points like

“It’s a part of our history!!” Ok, what history?

“My gradfather fought for what it represents and what they believed in!” Which was? So what did the south believe in so much that they’d go to war for?

"It didnt have to do with race at all!” Ok so what did the south hate about the north so much anyways. What was the South’s lucrative economy sustained by. Why did black people want to move north so bad.

“Taking down a flag won’t change history” Ok, does germany still let ppl fly nazi flags and put them on whatever they want.

“I think white ppl are more oppressed than ever now” Ok If white people are oppressed people give me a detailed synopsis of exactly how and when white people became oppressed and at whose hands they’ve been suffering by for the past 100 years and their history prior to that. Give me a detailed list of what part of their culture/humanity has been taken from them and how they became systematically disadvantaged for it.
