That is such a great question, and I believe that he is indeed a virgin.

There's no doubt that he's rather sexually driven, trying to make himself as appealing as possible to women that he meets or even just in his daily life, even if it backfires.

I think the scene in Time where Rick is attempting to describe what sleeping with a woman was like (even though he hadn't actually done this) confirms this for me, if not a significant piece of evidence. As Rick talks, Mike stands beside him with a voice recorder, seemingly noting what he hears to listen back to later. This leads me to believe that he's noting what to do when sleeping with a woman because he's never done it before and is perhaps a little unsure on what is actually supposed to happen during sex. Either way, he needs tips on what to do, suggesting he has in fact never done it.

Furthermore, the two largest pieces of evidence to suggest that he is NOT a virgin (at least from my memory) would be also in Time when he is almost suffocated by the murderer that they're all attracted to and a scene that shows him in bed with a sex doll. Personally, even though Mike takes it to be sexual, I wouldn't class a murder attempt as sex lol.

I feel like the sex doll scene could be used in favour of Mike not being a virgin since the whole point is to have sex with it (as the name literally suggests lol). However, as the doll is obviously not a real woman, I don't think using it can be classed as a loss of virginity but just an act of masturbation.

AWWGHH I love Mike so fucking much what a great question. Lemme see what I can remember 🥹🙏

Obviously the scene in Time where Mike gets suffocated with a pillow and he goes "that's it baby treat me rough" like what 😭😭 Hilarious scene I love it, he's such a freak

I really like the joke he has with (or moreso against lol) Rick in the same episode, where he makes Rick believe there's a guy in the bin leading him to waste a cup of tea. We don't really see Mike interact with any of the guys like that so I really enjoy how he jokes with Rick.

Another Rick and Mike scene: hide and seek. I find this so so funny, but also kinda cute. The way Mike politely tells Rick to go look for the others I just find quite nice since this is clearly something he wants to be good at.

The fish gag in the episode Sick. Makes me laugh so hard every time I adore it. I also like in the beginning of the episode where he's in bed looking into his big mirror with his glasses on 😭

Also in Sick, the ending where they zoom out and it's a game show set. Mike is clearly too short to be in view, so he keeps jumping up and at one point walks up and down the stairs 😭 I love that scene it's also very funny

I really like in Cash when Rick is confused as to how Vyvyan is pregnant and Mike responds with "awh come on Rick how old are you?" I mean, this could be a reference to the fact Rick probably doesn't think sex creates babies and is more likely to believe in the silly stork theory lol, but also the fact that Vyvyan is a man and seemingly can't get pregnant. Since I prefer the latter, I think Mike knows Vyvyan is trans (as is Mike himself) and works to defend him. Very sweet :)

When they swap clothes in Bambi and he comes down dressed as Neil: "I'm just not feeling myself today" 😭😭😭

EL PRESIDENTE. I was absolutely pissing myself laughing when I first saw this scene, it's fucking hilarious.

This may be more of a Chris moment than a Mike moment lol, but in the last episode where Vyvyan is crying over his car, Mike looks like he's trying very hard not to laugh 😭💔

Also in Time where Vyvyan goes "everybody panic" and they all go to the corner to hang Neil, except Mike who goes to sit down and read or some shit 😭😭

There will obviously be more scenes out there, but my memory is quite poor haha, especially on season 1. I'll have to update when I rewatch it all. Thank you so much for your ask though! I love talking about Mike so so much

I love Dave all throughout Bottom, don't get me wrong, but I feel like he was done a bit dirty in season 3.

I think he was randomly made into this bumbling idiot, to which he isn't much smarter than the others, but he isn't a total fool. Of course, I still love Dave, and I think Chris portrayed him greatly, but there's a noticeable difference between Dave in series 1 and 2 to series 3. Sure, he's still a bit of an idiot earlier on, but he's confident in how he goes about it and is an active member in the gang's conversations, a bit like Eddie in my eyes.

In series 3, he's made out to be quieter and more reclusive, which doesn't reflect his personality at all. I think this is best shown in series 3 episode 4 "Dough", where most of his lines feature him saying something completely incorrect and then proceeding to not talk for a while - almost distant from everyone else. I think a great contrast to this is series 2 episode 4 "Parade", in which Dave still isn't the brightest but he's a lot more interactive and very much works as a secondary character. He fits in better with Richie and Eddie, as he seems more likely the type they'd befriend and go for pints with.

I understand that there is the possibility of a slight age difference, as Dave seems somewhat older than our Richie and Eddie, but not to the point of a senior I don't think. Like, say Richie and Eddie are in their mid-30s by series 3, I'd argue Dave is in his early 40s. Not as youthful, sure, but still very much capable of having fun and getting himself involved with everyone else.

I'm not sure what the reason for this change was, whether Chris was given less lines and so this is what it resulted in, if it was Chris' personal choice, a writer's choice or something else entirely, but I'm not much of a fan. I will always defend Dave and I still love him throughout the entire show, but I don't believe series 3 is a true reflection of who he is. We've already seen how funny he can be and how active he is with Eddie, Richie and Spudgun, an example being when he begins the conversation in the corner of the room in series 1 episode 6 "Accident". I just think he deserved so much more, and had so much to give to the show, but he was ultimately failed.
