Lydia was going to get coffee for the third time in one day. She hadn’t been sleeping much recently due to everything that was going on, and this was the only thing keeping her awake. She glared at the barista who was giving her a strange look when he saw her again, and grabbed her coffee completely ready to walk out of the building. Except she saw a familiar face out of the corner of her eye. The banshee walked over and smiled. “Hey, Mr. Argent. How are you?” She hadn’t spoken to her best friends father in awhile and with all that was happening recently, Lydia thought it was a good idea to check in and see if he was alright.
