moving blogs

hi guys! i’m sure you’ve noticed i’m very inactive on this blog. it’s not because i don’t use tumblr - i’m on my main blog regularly - it’s mainly because i just don’t have the patience to run 2 different blogs. i also noticed that the majority of the blogs i follow on here are inactive/gone. so i decided to move this blog to my main account as a sideblog, which i feel will be a lot easier for me. i’ll be posting the same type of stuff - photography, aesthetics, quotes, etc. if you want to re-follow me at @satellitesoul, you can! if not, i totally understand. if you’re more interested in multifandom content, my main blog is @christopherbangs. 

i love & appreciate you all so much! especially those of you who stuck with this blog even when i didn’t, haha. so, thank you. i hope you’ll continue on with me on my new blog. i wish you all well, please take care & remember to love yourself 💕

1. Ive just woken up but so far I feel pretty good and the morning is going nicely!

2. I was watching clips from the new bts muster dvd! I can’t wait to watch the whole thing now bc it seems really cute and fun 🥺

3. Hmmm im doing a lot of baking at the minute making things and trying new recipes for my business. I’m also cooking a lot of food from around the world and improving my cooking skills! Normally we cook Italian cuisine but it’s been nice learning some korean and Chinese dishes!! Seeing as I can’t go to my favourite restaurants anymore, bringing it gone has been super fun! I’m also catching up on a lot of Netflix documentaries and knitting galore!

4. Well my local hospital recently asked for volunteer knitters to knit some hats for the new born babies in the maternity ward as they can’t get their usual supply in. As I’m only a beginner at knitting I’m hoping to be able to make some baby hats that I can send to the hospital! I finished my first one yesterday and *fingers crossed* it’s acceptable to be used! It’s definitely not as fancy as I’m sure some professional knitters can create but I really want to do my part any way I can. I also have a goal to keep up my exercise regimen that I normally carry out but honestly that’s not working so great for me at the minute 😅 I’ve baked so many cakes, cookies, biscuits and bread loaves these last few weeks I’m currently in carb and sugar overload 😂

what shows are you watching lately? i just finished chicago typewriter so now i’m rewatching agent carter and avatar w mum. I’m also watching death in paradise

what music are you listening to? A LOT, obvs the entire bts discog, a lot of eighties-esque music, tik tok sons lmaoooo, nu metal, and my summer playlist

what are you reading? I just managed to pull myself out of a slump and im reading a book about BSL (british sign language) and i hope to finish one of my half read philosophy books soon

what are you doing for self care? ahaha, not enough. but im talking to more friends that i have abandoned due to the chaos of my shift work patterns, baking, dancing in manic spurts, and actually chilling tf out.

my unpopular opinion about this character: probably that i feel so neutral about him tbh, most people seem to feel strongly about him, whether positively or negatively

one thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: maybe i wish he would have noticed alina before she was suddenly special because of her grisha powers... but also i wish alina wouldn't have ended up with him bc while he's not horrible, i think he's kinda bland and could have been a better supporter of alina, especially in her earlier days as a grisha

i’m not a fan. it’s nothing personal against shawn (i actually have all his albums on my phone and i think he’s got a lot of good songs) but it just feels so unnecessary like the song was perfect as it was. also the new lyrics are definitely weaker than taylor’s originals so i think i’d prefer it if they just stuck with the original lyrics (or ideally just collabed on a whole new song) because their voices do sound nice together! although i’m probably extra harsh because lover is my favourite of all taylor’s songs so i don’t anyone changing it at all!
