Top 3 tips for beginner crocheters!!
1) GOOD QUALITY YARN IS IMPORTANT!! If you wonder why people say yarn is so expensive it's because good quality stuff is!! Don't get the dollar store stuff if you can help it, even Walmart is better!! (You can also $teal it)
2) fluffy yarn is both a blessing and a curse, fluffier yarns are typically harder for beginners but doesn't fall apart as easily.
3) black is a very hard color to work with, it is harder to see where you're going and can easily mess up a stitch, go with pastels or white to begin with!!
There's always more but these are fairly easy to follow!
Someone give ma a character or something to crochet i have art block and need to get my hands on something (rtc chars or productions maybe)

Me: *with a starting chain/row exactly a mile long trying to join in the round* yes of course, why didn't I think of that
freehanded a hat for my brother!
My #weekendwip that I started last weekend! I had John pick out a skein of Mandala yarn and I learned the corner to corner pattern.
My mom was given a tote bag with some cancer info, an organizer for her appointments and paperwork, and a fleece blanket someone had made. This was donated to the cancer center by a group in Texas, she couldn't remember who or what. But it really touched me and inspired me. I would like to donate tote bags with activity books and lap blankets. Right now my goal is one blanket a month. I've made a lot of progress with this one but I need to move a little faster.
Anyone else have a project they're working on this weekend?
