Today’s rediscovered ephemera: “View of Seneca Lake from the Lookout on Cemetery Hill, Watkins Glen N.Y. Distributed by Howard Champion, Watkins Glen N.Y.  Plastichrome Printed in Ireland” 

Postcards like these would be standard fare in the souvenir stores of tourist destinations.  Mr Champion even published a souvenir postcard book (“Watkins Glen, N. Y.: 10 Miniature Cards in Natural Color”) circa 1950s-60s currently for sale at AbeBooks.  He was born in 1917 and expired in 1993 according to online records.
