#2120 - Chrysocephalum semipapposum - Clustered Everlasting

Formerly Helichrysum. One of the Paper Daisies such as the Sticky Everlasting Xerochrysum viscosum, but lacking the stiff papery bracts of the other species.

A perennial, rhizome-producing, highly variable herbaceous shrub. Some cultivars are a meter tall, but most wild plants are less than 60cm. Found widely in Australia but most abundant in Victoria where it grows in many areas, including dry rocky ones as here.
