There are two photos taken by Chuck a few years apart in almost exactly the same location, and I didn’t realize until now what they showed. Sometimes he tells me how the sun and the moon move, so now, sometimes when I’m watching the sun set, I think, not that the sun is going anywhere, but that I’m rolling backwards away from the sun. He calls this play Bear Berry Farm because he used to sell pick-your-own-berries and the name of the road was Bear Pond Road. (It has since been changed to Hall Road for E-911) - Jean
Pic 1: The field west of the house on Bear Pond Rd., Canaan, NH 1996
Pic 2: Chuck's handwriting: "The field above the house in Canaan. I liked the patterns made as melt water ran under the snow." I like the way Chuck sees how things work and shares it. I had no inkling as to what made those patterns.
