One Step Closer to South Korea!
I passed my phone interview! I received the notification yesterday afternoon but it just now hit me. I could be living in South Korea in less that two months and it's just so crazy. I have always wanted to travel and my passion/goal in life is to learn as many languages as possible before I die. So the fact that I will be getting paid to teach English in Korea, but I will also be able to learn Korean!
Hello everyone! I don't really post a lot, I mostly just reblog, but today I had my phone interview with Aclipse for an English teaching job with the Chungdahm Learning company in Korea. It was the most intense interview I have ever had and I've been through a lot of interviews! But I'm really proud of myself for taking this next step in my life, and that even if I don't get the job, I will still continue to search for English teaching jobs abroad. (And that's big for me, normally if I fail I always have a really difficult time getting back up and it takes awhile.) Just wanted to share. Thank you!

Hello yes as of right now I work for CDI. So far it is a good experience. The teachers are cool and the students can be fun. The students can be a handful but once you get them on your side it will be smooth sailing. You will have a few bad eggs but nothing a little student management can’t solve. If you want more info I can help you. :)
English Language... Slow your role
The past two days were kind of weird. I now teach all Memory English Classes. I know almost all of the students since I taught them in EC4. They hate me and I don't care. At least the Monday/Wednesday class hates me. Well, they're not exactly my cup of tea either. My night classes are awesome though. That's where the 'weird' comes in. I'm teaching students who have skipped levels. I speak English pretty fast so I REALLY have to slow it down for them. Four Memory Mega kids who were supposed to level up to Giga are now in Memory Tera and students who are supposed to be in EC 2-4 are in Mega. Also I'm teaching about war in Tera. WTF do I know about war? At least about the Civil War?! Maybe I should have stayed awake in History class when I was in school... Okay I guess I should do some research now.
