5 Years 1 Months & 20 Days

That’s how long it’s been since the last time I published anything on the blog.

I never felt like I stopped writing, not really anyway. The fragments of notes I leave around on post-its, notepads and in digital format have been “writing” in a way.

The stories and the learnings have been writing themselves in my head this whole time. Perhaps it’s time to get back to sharing snippets of those here.

Looking at my very first Webs blog - which I finally got around to cleaning up, I realized that the path is now a lot clearer than it was in 2011. The thoughts more structured and the feelings more coherent.

The format will be short and concise in this next stage. A sneak peak into my attempt to make sense of the shared human experience and the colorful ways people express it.

Po příjezdu.

Cesta do irského Limericku byla dlouhá 11 hodin. Možná jsem měla letět na letiště Shannon a ne do Dublinu, to by nejspíše ušetřilo hodně času, ale " po válce je každý generál" aneb příště budu chytřejší. 

Řidič autobusu v polovině trasy zastavil, protože venku na mostě viděl matku s dítětem a chtěl se podívat, jak to malé vypadá. Už jsem to psala na FB, takže jste to nejspíše slyšeli, každopádně... Mě to překvapilo :)

Když jsem dorazila na ubytování, zjistila jsem, že nejede internet, nikde poblíž si nemůžu koupit nic k jídlu a pokud si chci dát teplou sprchu, musím počkat hodinu, než se mi ohřeje voda. Byla jsem docela zoufalá.

Z druhé strany, zjistila jsem o sobě, že docela snadno řeším náhlé situace a že se nebojím na cokoliv zeptat, což se o některých lidech, které jsem potkala, říct nedá. Potěšilo mě to. Zvládám!

V lobby jsem se seznámila se svým prvním irským kamarádem- shodou náhod Irem. Přesto jsem šla spát unavená, hladová a docela zoufalá.Myslela jsem na ty, které jsem nechala doma, především pak na ty, které jsem nechala na letišti.. a chtěla jsem se vrátit. Ale.....

Přišel druhý den! :))
