Designed by Gogerty & Weyl Architects, in the 1920s, this Spanish style building was first owned by actor Fred Thomson, and for a few years served as a studio commissary and housed make-up and wardrobe departments for the neighboring studios. In 1985, it became the Cat & Fiddle restaurant and bar.
Owens Studio Building - Hollywood, California - architects Gogerty & Weyl, best known for their work on the Baine Building and the Hollywood Playhouse (Avalon), transformed the building into its current incarnation—a two-story Spanish Colonial Revival Building with Churrigueresque ornament and Moorish arched windows on the top story.
