Before I venture out there from Long Beach for better photos than *this*, can anyone tell me if they've taken the Saran Wrap off the 1930 West Hollywood Art Deco/ Churrigueresque mish-mash El Mirador Apartments yet? #ArtDeco #Churrigueresque • These photos are from a 12/05/2020 tour put on by the fantastic folks at @la_architecture_and_art_tours . I know they're working on the neon sign but I don't know about the rest of the building.

Exterior view of the Fred Thomson Shops located at 6530 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. Signs for two businesses, Howard Greer Couturiers and Travis Banton Clothiers, are visible on the exterior of the building. Designed by Gogerty & Weyl Architects, in the 1920s, this Spanish style building was first owned by actor Fred Thomson, and for a few years served as a studio commissary and housed make-up and wardrobe departments for the neighboring studios. In 1985, it became the Cat & Fiddle restaurant and bar.

Owens Studio Building - Hollywood, California - architects Gogerty & Weyl, best known for their work on the Baine Building and the Hollywood Playhouse (Avalon), transformed the building into its current incarnation—a two-story Spanish Colonial Revival Building with Churrigueresque ornament and Moorish arched windows on the top story.

Yucca Vine Tower, 6305-09 Yucca Street (at Vine), H. L. Gogerty of Gogerty & Weyl Architects, 1928, eight stories, Art Deco - now the central feature of the Los Angeles campus of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Baine Building - Hollywood, California 6601 Hollywood Boulevard - Circa 1925, this Spanish Colonial Revival building was designed by Gogerty and Weyl this is one of many Hollywood buildings recreated at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World.
