Bungo stray cats I drew in class

While he was on the run dazai was sad and depressed with only odasaku dying wish keeping him going .

One day he found a small wounded blue eyed ginger cat while it was raining heavily, like him the cat was alone and he decided to start what odasaku wanted of him by saving this cat.

He named the cat chuunyan and it was more than his apparence who made him think of his former partner, the cat was fierce, grumpy, caring and stubborn.

When he miss chuuya, odasaku and even ango and others peoples in the PM he will cuddle with chuunyan, it feel like his cat had a sixth sense for when he's sad and will always know what to do.

Caring for someone else was good for him so he's a little more responsable than in canon, when he joined the ADA chuunyan became the agency mascot with haruno even knitting him a detective cat and hat.

( one day for halloween ranpo made chuunyan wear a mini pork pie hat or/and a fedora to dazai horror and nostalgia, the cat liked it way too much for his liking.)

Haruno , junichiro and fukuzawa like to take photos of chuunyan with mii-chan and they have a veritable collection, fukuzawa spoil him, chuunyan like to follow dazai on his mission which kunikuda complain about but he's secretly fond of him and make in sort that the cat have an healthy diet and don't eat only canned crab ( dazai like to tease kunikuda by calling him chuunyan 's mom), the cat is loved and cared for by everyone in the agency.

But then chuuya and dazai have their reunion and chuuya meet chuunyan, the cat feel the longing and affection that his owner feel for this human and decide to get them together.
