Day 11: Corrupted Character

I was unable to work on this the day of due to medication and car issues. But! I had fun finishing it.

Decided on Karn with a snippet from CHWH when he realizes Reader is gone. He’s not too happy about it.

Went with the main colors being for the Corruption and Karn’s blue scarf(?) and eyes, and the rest being in varieties of grey. Kinda like how it looks.

Anywho, hope you enjoy!

Day 10 #Safe

So far this was the only prompt I didn't know how to do. But here it finally is. And since I already made a reference to "Penance", then here's another one. To CHWH this time.

Reaper Form, yay! Here's a scene from Chapter 10 - Falling Tears (day 10, chapter 10 :D). Unconscious Reader, safely tucked into the crook of an arm of very distressed Death.

Once the Pale Rider himself decides to protect you, there's no safer place than in his arms.

Y/n helping Death with his push ups, & a moment from Lost Light, when Y/n starts to consider her mortality and Death's immortality, and whether their time together will have meant anything to a being who can never die and whose memory is as long and full as the Universe.

Fun fact! The next chapter of Chwh was going to see Y/n choosing to stay with Draven whilst Death goes off to find the dead lords, and it only takes a couple of hours before the Horseman gets all ‘Has the Universe always felt so… hollow? Were my adventures always this bleak? I’ve always been a melancholy bastard, why is this so different?’

But halfway through I didn’t like the way it was going and scrapped that direction entirely, it was as if Death reached through my screen to throttle me like ‘don’t you dare split us up.’

Chapter ??? of Cold Hands, Warm Heart - Death loses his cool just a little bit, just a smidge, and levels an entire city block. Reader is fine btw, safe at the epicentre of his big dumb tantrum.
