There was a stifled laugh from the goddess.  He always seemed to manage to get more of a genuine laugh from her. Then again her sense of humor was more or less about like his....morbid. There weren’t many she found to be good company and keeping away the boredom.

at first, the princess had been unnerved by the clown’s appearance. jesters were not something that were seen often in hyrule’s court, and when they were, they usually came from other kingdoms. zelda’s unfamiliarity with them left her staring in awe at this man’s attire, blue eyes unable to tear themselves away as he maneuvered skillfully through the crowd before coming to rest before her. without a word exchanged between the two of them, the clown places a crown of flowers upon the princess’ head, weaving it carefully into the intricate braids of her hair. just as pink lips part to speak, the clown departs as quickly as he appeared, leaving zelda stunned in his wake. ❛ .. thank you!  ❜  she doesn’t know whether or not the man heard her parting words, but nevertheless, a small smile grows on her lips as she reaches up to touch the flowers in her hair.

   pale lips parted, dark blue eyes open wide and shining with curiosity and excitment, brows angled upwards... yes, the waiter was in awe. when was the last time he saw such gaudy clothing and such a characteristic make up?!

      “ mister, mister — ! ” man calls, in hopes of catching the other’s attention. “ is there a Circus in town?! ya lookin’ real awesome there! ” excitment making itself more than obvious in his voice, eyes looking at him still rather intensely.
