Working in the Command Room wasn’t exactly the most entertaining work, (on her end, anyway. All the action was dealt with by Da Vinci.) but it was fulfilling. But like anyone, Emma eventually got tired of tapping away at a keyboard and staring at a bright screen for hours, so she told the other operators that she was taking a break. Now here she was, a cup of hot chocolate cradled in her hands, as she watched the bustle of the Servants who didn’t go with the Master on this mission.
It was considered a low-threat mission, which was why Emma wasn’t with them despite being a Master candidate. Not that she minded all too much, she didn’t like being in danger anyway.
She was on her way back to the Command Room when she spotted Karna. She liked him, he was quiet, polite, and kind to Emma, and he was always willing to lend an ear whenever she needed it. She grew her signature smile, and approached him.
“Good afternoon! It’s been a pretty uneventful day, huh?”
