OfHouses guest curated by CI-AA: ”Vilanova Artigas designed this house for himself in 1942, four years after his graduation, which shows his early maturity as an architect. The clear influence of Frank Lloyd Wright, which he references widely in his initial projects, becomes the means of a formal release. The sincerity in the use of construction materials, as advocated by Wright, is brought to another almost raw level in this house: there is no facade, just juxtaposed volumes.
