Cicada your other form looks super ugly what are you anyway ??

Before Cicada could even reply to the anon something very large and aggressive slammed into the anon hitting into them sending them flying only to land in a heap on the floor some ways away. Cicada looked confused when he suddenly felt a warm embrace pulling him close and a deep growl above him. Arcane was in his own release and was baring a deadly glare towards the anon “ I have told you before about answering to such vile creatures foolish brother of mine , honestly do i have to do everything myself” he grumbled in annoyance before looking down at Cicada whose large eyes welled up with tears.

Without another word Cicada felt the soft caress against back as Arcane patted him letting his brother crying into his fluff. “Im sorry i cause so much trouble” Cicada sobbed Arcane eyes softened before he gave a sigh “Don’t be silly the one causing trouble are these creatures” he said with a slight disdain towards the anon “It has been so long since i have seen you in this form i often forget how small you are Cicada “ the other said nothing instead he just cuddled up into the warmth of the other before he finally fell fast asleep. Arcane shock his head and lifted up Cicada “Lets get you back to you back to your moth before he kicks me one “ he grumbled carrying him back to the nest and to Kayde and Pyro.

Cicada why does Kayde even like you compared to Kayde you are pretty ugly

“Kayde likes me for who I am not for what I am “ he sniffed trying his best to calm down “What i look like doesn’t change how he feels about me no matter what any of you might think or say” Cicada suddenly flinched as something once again touched his cheek.

“Cicada why must you even speak with these inferior creatures especially one that is just going to insult you “ Arcane said coldly before looking at the anon before he wrinkled his nose in disgust and looked back at his brother “Perhaps i was too harsh or could it be my brother is far too soft-hearted” Cicada let out a little startled wine as he was harshly pulled forward by Arcane away from the anon “You can leave now creäture back to the void you came from “ Arcane said before looking back at Cicada who was still quite upset.

Cicada who is Gypsy?

“Gypsy she is my companion and has been with me since i was very young” he said frowning a little “Hey Gypsy you awake?” he asked looking over his shoulder as a pair of antennas shifted back and forth.

Gypsy suddenly popped her head over Cicada shoulder before waving a little hello and giving a small bleep sound. Cicada reached one hand up and gentle caressed her antennas before looking back at the at you “This little one is Gypsy she is my guardian and is a what we call a Minix”

Cicada would your real parents be proud of you and love kayde ?

“Proud of me the only way i would have made my original parents proud of me i was abomination to them if not for Gypsy finding me and taken care of me I wouldn’t be here now and i dread to think what they would have done to Kayde or the babies ” he said tears streaming down his face having to recall the painful memory. Look down through his tear-stained eyes he saw the large concerned eyes of Gypsy who fluttered off his shoulder at some point and was now on his  arm trying even harder than before to calm him down. pitiful squeak and chirps came from the little minix who continuously kept licking Cicada face before nuzzling him.

“Now now calm yourself tears do not suit you at all Cicada” came a very familiar voice as a tendril appeared removing away some of the tears as a figure approach him “Now mind telling me why you are crying dear brother” Cicada looked up and weakly smiled as the tendril pulled away dissolving out of existence once more.

Cicada does Honey have her ball still?

“Yeah she still has her ball though Arcane is still not to happy about it since it seems pretty attracted to his head “ he said smirking a little “Arcane has even asked we keep it as far away from him as possible though somehow Honey always manages to hit him with her ball on accident  when she throws it kid has a powerful throw but terrible aim “ he beamed proudly as he looked over at the nest once more observing.

Cicada do you love moths?

“You already know that answer but i have always loved insects moths especially. It might be due to Gypsy influence i can’t be sure. Ever since i was young i have always had Gypsy by my side teaching me and guiding me. But i do love other kinds of bugs but i do have a few i don’t like as well “ he said slightly embarrassed as he avoided the anon gaze.

Cicada where did you get Gypsy i would love to have one ?

“Minix went extinct a long time ago , i didn’t find Gypsy she found me when i was lost and alone badly injured  barely a few weeks old” his voice trembled as he spoke soon a faint hissing could be heard coming from Cicada shoulder. There Gypsy was staring at the anon before glaring hissing away clearly could sense Cicada distress and was now doing a display to intimate the anon to back off, Cicada took notice of this and smiled “It’s okay Gypsy i’m fine “ she gave a little squeak and nomes his feathers trying her best to comfort him.

Cicada when people call you ugly does it hurt you ?

“well yeah it use to especially seeing how much so many of even you humans find my appearance repulsive or just dislike me for my looks alone..you dont see me judging you based solely on your looks that would be unfair but yeah in the past it used to hurt now i don’t care because why should it if you can blindly grow to dislike someone based on looks alone what does that say about the person” he said rolling his eyes before pulling out a envelope of pictures “Besides look at me now i have several children and two beatiful mates ..ugh one mate and a best friend who both taught me especially kayde that i am loved for just being myself and anyway he loves how i look even when i glow in the darker he …finds me beautiful inside and out “ cicada blushed as he took out a few pictures he had taken and smiled “no matter what any of you try to do or say it wont matter i know i am loved and far from ugly the proof is in their eyes and my heart” the photo he held showed both kayde and pyro joyful faces gazing at something hidden while tears of happiness pricked at their eyes.
