Please give my newest doll Rune (Magic Mirror Branwen Elf in quartz) a warm welcome! She arrived last week after a long wait of 7,5 months. She’s a gorgeous and lanky doll, and I’m so glad I could order one, after the in stock one was sold out from under my nose in March at Epic Doll Fair.
I managed to finish both her Faceups on the weekend, so here’s a few quick pictures to show them off:
Let me share some full body pics along with her blank faceplates from her box opening:
Rune came with two faces, a human and elf version. I intend to primarily use the elf eared head. She unfortunately arrived with a broken finger, but Marta will be replacing the hand as soon as she’s able to get one made.
Fortunately, I was able to repair her hand in the meantime, and I’ll be concealing the break with some golden tattoo work, similar to he forehead design.
I’m actually really happy with how well I was able to repair the break, I did have to sand the overlap a little, but luckily her fingers are thick enough that taking off half a millimeter on each overhang did not change the optics.
She did get restrung and sueded by me (she came pretty much straight from the caster without being inspected by the artist), but I feel I need to restring her again, just a little tighter still. Her arms luckily are fine, but the body is loose. I may wire her too just for extra security. She will be getting shoes eventually, as I got some on order with another preordered doll from Impldoll.

Auguste Toulmouche (French, 1829-1890) New Arrival, 1861
New Release: The Y Table Lamp
Expanding the Y Series with something a bit more substantial: Meet the Large Y Table Lamp.
This piece stays true to the collection’s signature split form; one slim steel stem that branches into two arms, each holding a soft glass globe. It sits somewhere right between a functional light fixture and a small sculpture. The silhouette is balanced and a little playful without trying too hard. We’ve grounded it with a solid marble base and added an inline dimming switch so you can dial in the mood.
Whether it’s acting as a focal point on a console or providing a wider reach on a desk, it’s designed to look just as good off as it does on. Available now in two globe sizes.

I bought these two minis as a bonded pair. Surprising how it makes them so docile. These two are so well behaved!
