Hi all! I’ve been gone for so so long! But I wanted to say I’m well. I finished my undergraduate degree as a triple major in philosophy, history, and classics, and I am beginning a masters program in philosophy in the fall.
But I wanted to say I’ve also been reading and just finished Dune! It was really quite good, and I highly recommend it.

Writing a paper for my favourite class this semester. I'm kinda sad that it's over now, as we don't have an exam, but I am planning on taking yet another class with the same prof because I love her so much.
Hey! I love Cicero and was wondering if you had favorite particular commentaries on his speeches that are good/helpful/thoughtful/funny, or on Sallust’s history of the conspiracy. I love your blog so much, thanks!!
oxford world’s classics editions!!! they’re good!!! they have good endnotes. i haven’t read much in Detail on the speeches but the OWC sallust (tr. batstone) slaps and has a very good introduction. also i looooooove catiline by barbara levick on the conspiracy more generally and she is v good at looking through all the Ciceronian Propaganda! but do not Touch the book on catilina by francis galassi because it literally tried to kill me with how bad it is

Decided to try something that's somewhere between a planner and a bullet journal for planning/scheduling, so I've spend a bit setting it up. Now I'm going to type up some notes that I've left since the beginning of the semester and prep for a study group tomorrow.

First week back is almost over, but somehow it feels like it's been a month long. I have mostly classics course this semester, and I'm already looking forward to the spring for a long break.
