GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!
The Faces of the league of legends community.
Links to youtube will be at the bottom of the bottom of the page.
So Gbay99 just recently posted a video where he shared his opinion on paying to get better at league and why you shouldnt and mentioned why pay for what you can get for free from him, Sky (gregidot), and Ciderhelm.
But what exactly are you getting for free?
We watch these youtube videos hoping to be diamond or gold, or whatever your goal for League of Legends is, but what exactly are we getting out of these videos, Gbay99 said it himself "why should you pay for what you're going to figure out anyway?"
So lets start with what you're getting out of Gbay99s videos.
His channel is called Become a Better LoL player.
He uses philosophy and logic to show how your attitude and mindset is affecting the way you play the game, talks about being on tilt and how that the feeling of time escaping you is also another factor. Using Sun Tzus art of war he mentions leadership roles in the team and how YOU are the reason you lost. If you want more information link to Gbays channel will be below.
Sky
A comedian who is really involved in community matters.
Not to say he's in the "drama" to use highschool terminology, but he is very into what is happening to the community at large, posting videos like the one inspired by all the Maplestreet haters and the other one about the kid who was put in jail for some things he said on facebook. Sky really won't tell you how to lane or strategic thoughts, but he says things we should all know in a way as if we don't. He uses rhetoric that clumps league players together to associate all of us together, and we are, we are all players in a game. Sky is like a tough love giving uncle or cousin, who calls you a dumb@$$ and says what you're doing wrong. He pretty much tells us to respect each other, treat each other well regardless of role. If you want more information the link to his channel will be below.
Ciderhelm
The family man who makes his living by making content for the viewer.
If we had to compare the youtubers to teachers, Gbay would be an english or philosophy teacher, Sky would be a drama teacher, and Ciderhelm would be a math teacher.
Going through lane mechanics and last hitting, to positioning in teamfights, he analyzes replays from his own games and others, constantly saying what the player could have done that would have changed the outcome of the fight. teaching people how to stutter step and even creating videos on champion counters and how to deal with counters, he teaches you what you can do mechanically to get better. He does mention though very lightly in one of his videos that attitude does matter. He does have an E-book with even more information on how to get better at league, but I'm not exactly sure what is in it. you do have to pay for that, but I'm certain that most if not all that information is available on his youtube channel for free and the real reason he sells the book is for players, who enjoy his work and what he does, to support him. For more information the link to his channel will be down below.
Hope you enjoyed this post, Good luck on the Fields of Justice.

What a great video on teamwork. I'm not overwhelmingly skilled when it comes to mechanics, and prefer "utility" champs like Sona, Lulu, or Rammus, where I can feel like I'm helping the team just by being in or near the fight. But I need to work on communication as well -- sometimes in soloqueue I don't say a word, expecting someone else to come up with the plays. I think I can try to do better.
