The future of this blog going into 2026
Context: I dunno about you lot but 2025 was absolutely horrible for me. Hit below the belt a bit too many times. Too much crap build up at work effecting me mentally and emotionally, the loss of my uncle and an artist friend (to clarify, the artist friend didn't die they just, didn't want to be friends anymore. Just hoping they've surrounded themselves with people worth their friendship, and if they somehow see this, whatever I did, I'm sorry.), as well as BS rules and censorship laws being forced down throats because of what happened in another country.
Anyway, so, right, back to the topic at hand. Going into 2026 I'm probably slowly going to be working on setting up a new blog focusing on my designs and dream project, focusing more on that one. I just personally think my social skills on here as well as my confidence have somewhat taken hits (I've tried interacting with blogs I like and, well, getting ignored I guess is the new name of the game, so why play the game anymore? I'm not a one way street kinda guy when it comes to some things and I just feel like things have been one street for the longest time, so it might be for the best if I just begin to actually disappear more and more). I also need to focus on my projects a little more this upcoming year and build confidence in that area.
This blog isn't going to go away anytime soon, but I feel its important to note that I don't think I'll be posting the name of the new one, until I feel confident in the quality of it anyway (maybe any close mutuals could get a sneak peak here and there, depending on who'd want to). I was thinking of making it be an ask blog involving my oc's with the world I'm making, but, nah. Lets just say in my blog's current state I can say there's no interest in my character(s) and that's kind've bummed me out the last few years so, I'm probably just going to be focusing on my designs and worldbuilding and not worry about my designs not being popular as I want to be able to enjoy creating again without worrying about likes or reblogs.
If anyone somehow manages to find this new blog as its under construction, then just know....CONGRATULATIONS! YOU FOUND WALDO! I dunno just an attempt at humor to lighten things up at the end.
