This Pulled Pork Pizza with Sweet Corn and Cilantro Cream is a delightful fusion of flavors. The tender pulled pork and sweet corn complement the creamy cilantro sauce, creating a unique and delicious pizza experience.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough, store-bought or homemade. 1 cup pulled pork, cooked and shredded. 1/2 cup sweet corn kernels, cooked and drained. 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded. 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Olive oil for brushing.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven up to 450F 232C. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the size and shape you want. Place the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet after it has been rolled out. Use olive oil to coat the dough so it doesn't get too wet. Cover the dough with the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Spread the cooked pulled pork and sweet corn kernels out evenly on top of the cheese. It should be baked in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Make the cilantro cream sauce while the pizza is in the oven. Put the sour cream, chopped cilantro, fresh lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Change the seasonings to your liking. Take the pizza out of the oven and give it a minute or two to cool down. Spread the cilantro cream sauce on top of the hot pizza, and then top it with thin slices of red onion. Prepare the pizza by cutting it into wedges. Serve and enjoy!
