Cinder is one of those people who just seemingly never gets ill. Ever. When flu season kicks in, she’s the only one not sniffling. She likes to accredit it to dwarven hardiness, but honestly she’s probably also just super lucky. So on the rare occasions where she is ill (or more likely bed-bound) she quickly finds herself at a loss for what to do with herself. But she sucks it up and deals with it because the quicker she accepts that, the quicker it’ll (hopefully) go. 

As for Lydia, she is very very very dramatic when she’s ill. Everyone has to know about it and she will need to stop every five seconds to sit down (whether she actually needs to or not is up for debate). Thankfully, Cinder is happy to dote on her - though it’s funny, it doesn’t help speed up the recovery process as much as Cinder would think ;)

Some casual and formal Lydia and Cinder because why not

Cinder is used to heat. She’s used to working around a hot forge all day long, she’s used to poor ventilation. 

Now granted, just because she’s used to it doesn’t mean she likes it. She sweats buckets very easily and then it gets stuck in her hair and she just never feels clean. Any day where she needs a wash morning and night is Not Fun in her eyes. 

Still, she likes the hot weather because her tan really comes through and she gets this glow she just loves. She just wishes it came with less sweat

Lydia loves a good bit of gossip. She likes to know what’s going on with who, even if it’s not meant to be public knowledge

Problem is, she spends a lot of her time in spaces that don’t allow for easy flow of gossip. Which is why she likes wine sessions with anyone worth knowing - and the wine definitely helps loosen people’s tongues

It’s definitely a bonus for her when her and Cinder become an item, because Cinder is a big fan of people watching and you hear a lot of things people don’t want everyone to hear when you blend into the background

Lydia still has her wine sessions, but Cinder helps bring a different pool of knowledge, and after all, knowledge is power

Lydia likes to snack throughout the day. Lots of little meals to nibble on when she’s feeling peckish

Which doesn’t really work with Cinder’s love of a good heavy meal (especially a nice hearty stew)

But that’s okay. Cinder will keep some of the materials separate and Lydia can do what she likes with them when she’s hungry. And Cinder can enjoy her stew for the next few days. Everyone wins

Reif - looks like a badass bitch, could actually just do with a good night’s sleep

Cinder - looks like a babe, could snuggle you real good

Lydia - looks like a stuck up sod, could treat you nice if you don’t judge her on appearances guys you’re just mean 

Rei - looks like a badass bitch, could also just do with a really good night’s sleep and for people to fuck off and believe her about the Reapers damn it

What’s their favorite craft activity? Are they any good at it?

Cinder - setting aside weaponsmithing since that’s her profession, she occasionally knits. she mostly knits scarves and condom hats*. not well, but she knits them

Reif - it’s more artistic than crafty, but Reif is a secret sketcher and occasional flower-presser. she likes to draw things that catch her eye, but she doesn’t have much time when they’re almost dying, so they’re not as good as she’d like

Lydia - again more artistic than crafty, but she paints in her free time. it’s very loose and free and contemporary. most people either love it or hate it. but it’s pretty good tbh

*re: condom hats - so my mum, when she started trying to knit hats, made them too short? and they legit looked like condoms fresh outta the packet. they had the little nob and everything
