📖 BOOK REVIEW ✨ Title: Cinder and Ella Author: Kelly Oram Published: October 2014 TWs: death, bullying/cyber-bullying, depression, attempted suicide Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thoughts: After reading the prologue, I thought this book is so cliche. It’s like the wattpad books I used to read back in high school. It’s like, I’ve watched movies and read books that sounded like these, I knew how this would unfold. And I wasn’t wrong. But I wasn’t right either. Yes it’s cliche, but the author had her own way of unfolding the story that hooked me all the way. It was so good that I couldn’t sleep Thursday night even when I have 2 job interviews the following day. And even that Friday, I was reading it in between interviews laughing and trying hard not to cry and ruin my makeup. I gave up that afternoon tho, I was laughing and crying I even skipped lunch just to finish the book. I pitied Ella for what happened to her, her situation and what she’s experiencing from the people around her. At the same time, I admired her. She may think she’s weak and broken but I know she’s strong. Her fairy tale is a book dragon’s dream too! This book was also dedicated to the author’s daughter and I just want to say that I know she would love it! I’m sure of it ❤️ Thanks Kelly for this amazing book.
