Cinderella Birthday Cake, 2012!

This C cake is inspired by Cinderella.

A simple vanilla cake with blue buttercream and white buttercream in a bag with a number 4 tip.

| Recipe |

6 oz Butter

3 Eggs

2 1/2 Cup Flour

2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

1 1/2 Cup Sugar

1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 1/4 Cup Milk

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes

| Frosting |

6 oz Butter

6 - 8 Cups Powdered Sugar

1/3 Cup Heavy cream or Milk

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Pinch of Salt

This was my first fondant cake, made for my daughter’s 7th birthday in 2015. Guess who her favourite Disney princess is? :-)

Underneath the skirt, there’s a pound cake filled with strawberry cream, covered with white ganache. The dress was self-made mashmallow fondant (the only time I have made fondant myself).
