Meet the Artist: @cinderoo

Hello. My name is Cindy (she/they). I am a freelance 2D character designer and illustrator based in Canada. I like to make art that pops out of the computer screen with bold linework, bright colors, and emotive characters. I am constantly inspired by cool concepts in the visual media I consume, such as giant robots, medieval armor, and high fantasy. It keeps the imagination running! My dream is to put the ideas bouncing around my head into a visual format which other people can see and understand the themes behind, like an illustration series or an ongoing digital comic. I hope that other people enjoy what I have to offer as I improve more and more with my craft. Nice to meet you.

i really wish that etrian odyssey could get a new character designer. there's an obvious reason as to why himukai prefers to draw barely covered girls despite being able to draw older women and older men...

;__; I’ve been honestly giving Him●kai the benefit of the doubt in regards to their design choices (and I know its also up to higher-ups to officially green light most of their work) but hhhh, that artbook cover (and their more recent work) is looking real scandalous imo. 

I’m very fond of their style when it comes to older characters but it’s a shame they don’t get much spotlight or recognition during concept stages too. I honestly wonder when the EO team will realize that sex appeal cannot sell for a series based heavily around ecological turmoil and norse mythology...
