the Baron himself - what range are we talking in creature power here? cr20 monstrosity, or on par with old ones and demon lords?
Baron Amberdale, as I see him, is a CR30 endboss, on par with stronger demon lords and demigods. He’s not a projection or a shadow–of you see his body, that’s where he is, even though his awareness is spread all across Paradise.
Most of his abilities are for entertainment purposes, but his patrons have many unusual tastes that make his abilities suited for combat, as well. His primary drive, though, is to get people to take his offers and enter Paradise, and he won’t do it by force. He uses his myriad powers to tempt rather than slay, and will even resurrect anyone he kills, either on purpose or accidentally. He’s CR30 but greatly limits himself.
I’m giving him the Great Old One creature type, and the immortality that comes with it; killing him permanently is impossible. The best you can do is destroy his body and force him to retreat to Paradise to lick his wounds for a few years.
