Tyler sat in Derek’s living room, feeling incredibly uncomfortable. There were so many unfamiliar scents and it made him feel like an intruder. Part of him wanted to run, to leave and not come back because he was an unwelcome alpha. Another part felt the need to fight for dominance, to overtake the pack. But the biggest part of him...the only part that Tyler wasn’t suppressing...just wanted to be closer, to wrap himself in all the scents and settle. He was so tired of running.

Derek scented the air and huffed beside him, turning his gaze to the door. A blonde walked through moments later and Tyler caught her scent in a flourish.
