Burdis
The layers of this beautiful baked flan parfait are rich and creamy. It has a golden caramel base, velvety flan, whipped cream, and a hint of cinnamon. A delicious dessert that takes flan to a whole new level.
Ingredients: 6 large eggs. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1 can 12 ounces evaporated milk. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 cup crushed graham crackers. Fresh berries for garnish.
Instructions: Set the oven to 325F 163C before you start cooking. Melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium-low heat until it turns into a golden caramel. Spread out the caramel in the bottom of parfait glasses or serving dishes after pouring it in. Add eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl. Use a whisk to mix the ingredients well. Carefully pour the egg mix into the parfait glasses on top of the caramel. Make a water bath by putting the glasses in a baking dish and adding hot water until it comes halfway up the sides of the glasses. After the oven is hot, bake the flan for 45 to 50 minutes, or until it is set. After it cools to room temperature, put it in the fridge for at least two hours or overnight. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together in a different bowl until stiff peaks form. Put the chilled flan in the parfait glasses and then add the whipped cream on top of it. Place crushed graham crackers on top and sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of that. Add fresh berries as a garnish before serving. Have a taste of the World's Best Baked Flan Parfait!
