He hasn’t been around to the medical bay where Paz is staying in ages. He isn’t used to feeling so bad about forgetting stuff, which is stupid, ‘cause he’s Busy, he’s a Soldier, he has Important Things to do, but-- he does feel kinda bad for not visiting. He has the feeling no one else really does. So it’s a little awkwardly he sticks his head in her room, wondering if she’s even still there. “Paz? You in here?”

He was on the Medical Platform, getting some of his bandages changed and some stitches removed, as well as getting a (mandatory) eval; Ocelot had made it clear that while he was getting a lot of slack due to his skill, he still had to function okay. Which was fine with Finn; he wanted to function okay, too.
He’s let loose early, so he spends a little time wandering the platform, and stops when he sees a girl sitting on a chair in one of the hallways. He hasn’t seen her before, and he tilts his head curiously. “Um...hello?” He says, holding up a hand and moving a little closer, hoping the now-visible scars on his cheek and the bandages still on his nose and cheek and forehead don’t frighten her.
She appears behind him, poking his back. "Eli, I have something for you." Her cheeks turned red instantly, as she handed him a small box with chocolate. "I caught them at the Mess Hall, while no one was looking. Happy birthday, Eli!"
He turns bright pink, taking the chocolate. “Th-thanks, Paz,” he says, smiling a little, pleased and embarrassed.
" Where did you get that? "
Eli jumps, looking a little embarrassed as he looks up at Paz. “Uh-- the mess hall,” he explains, and awkwardly holds his prize out. “I figured since you can’t leave here I’d bring you something better to eat than the nasty hospital food.”
He holds the wrapped package of cookies out to her with a slight grin. “Here, Paz,” he says. He feels bad for her; she’s just an ordinary, normal girl -- not a soldier -- and someone had hurt her bad enough to put her in confinement on the Medical Platform. That’s not fair. He wants to help.
