Cal wandered the current base of operations for FOXHOUND, practicing a new use she had found for her empath ability. Because she could feel other people's emotions, she could also feel their presence, and she was learning to count how many people she could sense, and sometimes identify the ones she knew well. Sniper Wolf, this time. Approaching the woman, she grinned. "Fancy meeting you here," Cal said jokingly.

I read through your file when you joined us a few days ago. To say the least, you are an absolutely astounding individual. I mean so in that I am not referring to your accomplishments in the field, which are equally impressive, but to your recovery from your time in captivity with the Iraqi Ministry. The way they treated you was beyond terrible, and I confess I too know what it is like to have your mind taken away and toyed with by those demons. It’s not something that I share with others, but I feel like I can trust this part of my life to you.
