Let’s go with Circle of Time for the WIP ask—I’m guessing it’s a Timeless fic, but if not that’s cool too!

It's actually a Sanctuary fic! Honestly, fic is a generous word at this point; it's mostly a series of my random thoughts strung together about a "crack treated seriously" concept of some different headcanons.

A couple of snippets I like:

Mary Anne isn’t a Zimmerman yet, Helen learns; she’s only just crossed paths with Jacob. Helen tries to brush it off, but the woman doesn’t seem concerned with knowing her own future; she treats fate as nothing more threatening than a friend.

And Mary Anne cuts her off. “Don’t tell me how I die, Helen,” she says calmly. “I won’t be able to avoid it anyway. It’s meant to be.”

Maybe she should try all the same, but something tells her that Mary Anne will walk head held high into her own death just to preserve the timeline, and Helen can’t bear to be the reason why Will loses his mother.
