The Circle of Ooze, also known as Oozemasters, or pejoratively as Oozeheads or Oozebrains by more dismissive druids, look to the most primitive forms of life in their study of nature. Oozemasters study oozes, slimes, jellies, puddings, molds, and other such creatures. This is my Homebrew Druid subclass: The Circle of Ooze. I love the idea of a druid circle that is especially interested in the most primitive forms of life: oozes, slimes, jelly, and such. This subclass adds an extra cantrip, a minor ability to talk to oozes, and Ooze form with some added mobility and the ability to change spell damage types into acid damage versatility. Later levels will give some damage and condition resistance and a split feature like the Echo Knight's echo feature.
Witches are fun to play in Dungeons and Dragons and wizard, warlock, and artificer can make good witches depending on the kind of witch character one is trying to make. I also think that druids offer a really great opportunity to make a "wild witch" or "witch of the woods" character! The Witch is a variant/subclass for the druid class! This subclass adds new circle spells, allows one to create witch's brew potions and have other party members cast spells or use wild shape, use divination magic for utility, create your own coven, and create a flying tool like a carpet or broomstick! Additionally, this subclass allows for choosing the spellcasting ability modifier: wisdom, intelligence, or charisma, depending on the kind of witch that one wants to play!
This druid subclass is a fun and unique thematic approach for druids, different that the traditional druid areas of animals, plants, and the elements. Druids of the Circle of Time treat time itself as another natural phenomenon to be controlled and mastered. With additional spells, a timeshape ability, unique recall to change prepared spells, fast casting, and an ability to turn time back from death itself, the time druid makes for a fun an unique druid circle!
Shamans are fun to play in Dungeons and Dragons and wizard, warlock, and cleric can make good shamans depending on the kind of shaman character one is trying to make. I also think that druids offer a really great opportunity to make a shaman character!
The Shaman is a variant/subclass for the druid class! This subclass adds new circle spells, allows one to channel spirits, and speak to the dead! Additionally, this subclass allows for choosing the spellcasting ability modifier: wisdom, intelligence, or charisma, depending on the kind of shaman that one wants to play!
One thing that I really liked about the Stars druid is that it expanded the "nature" theme of druids outside of traditional druid areas like plants, animals, elements, and weather into something new and interesting.
I know that there is a gravity wizard subclass from Matt Mercer, but I really like the idea of a druid subclass focused on gravity as well, and druids that devote themselves to master one of the most fundamental forces of nature.
To that end, this is a subclass that I put together focusing on limiting enemy mobility or moevement with a little extra damage at level 2 with a Gravity Field ability based on wildshape use. At level 6, they get a limited use ability to change damage type to essentially gravity damage (which is fun) and get a little extra damage. Level 10 gives an improved fly speed compared to the Stars druid Dragon constellation and some buffs for allies against being prone. Level 14 is an overall improvement on the Level 2 abilities and a jumping speed for allies.
