Just let me introduce myself! I'm Bee, I go by they/them pronouns, I'm a nonbinary queer person and I am from the UK so I am in a GMT time zone at this moment and I'm a 22 years old role-player with many years of experience. I have about 10+ years of experience, which I have done many genres joyfully, and both oc/fandom for that matter. I am an active role-player  who is third person literate to advanced literate past/present tense mixed, rapid replier most times as well. I love ooc equally as much as writing the roleplay. It is something fun to me. I also solely write on discord as well + open for tupper to be included, I'm happy to use them if you wish to as much.

Today, I'm bringing back my favourite oc roleplay requests. I'm actively looking for long term and active oc roleplays with which has romantic, slice of life, drama, mature and historical/vintage genre to it, the historical eras I'm looking for 1920s/1950s/1960s/1980s eras. Although, I am open to ideas for other eras (open to modern day) and tropes you have any in mind of course. All your ideas are welcome, and I love to exchange on eras or tropes you have in mind. I'm looking to do lesbian/queer (fxf, fxnb) roleplay with this request, with a butchxfemme or queer couple to explore the relationship in such eras, I am writing the femme/fem character and would love to find those who would be interested to write as the butch/masc/gender nonconforming character. All ocs are welcome as long as they are nonmen, this includes trans, bipoc, etc. Queer history/community is incredible and importantly intersectional, and I'd love to explore that together.

The Amaryllis circus moves by a large train from the 1830s. One of the largest moving circuses to exist in the Americas, and has existed since the early 1800s.

Constantly, new performers get hired. Whether they’re run aways, or just have a dream, sometimes a new edition will be added.

Everyone seems to adore the Amaryllis Circus, and certain performers in it.

The current ring master, Rosland Amaryllis, was passed down that position by his father, and his father before him. But, that bloodline is cruel, including Rosland.

The performers are abused, and forced to abuse, torture, and kill each other, and hide the bodies.

But they don’t want to.

No one is allowed to leave, goodness forbid they challenge the Amaryllis bloodline. Goodness forbid they piss the ring master off too much.

The performers and crew view each other as family, one way or another.

The people who get it the worst? The star performers. They make the most money for the circus, so there’s more pressure. More abuse. Worse punishments.

In front of the audience, however, no one can tell a single thing is wrong.

The crowd erupted with cheers as you walked past the circus tent. Must’ve been a good show. You’ve heard that there was a circus in town this week, but didn’t know much about it. The sign over the tent read “Pixie’s Fantasmal Circus”. …weird name. For some reason, you felt drawn in to investigate. Without a second thought, you let your curiosity get the best of you and you headed in to what looked like a meet and greet with the ringmaster. You saw performers heading back to their changing room, exhausted. But the ringmaster didn’t look tired one bit. She noticed you staring and gestures for you to join the line. It was free, after all.

After a good 15 minutes, it was your turn.

“Hey there! I noticed you staring and it seemed like you had nothing to do, so I wondered if you had some questions or anything! Also- you seem pretty cool if I’m being honest! I think you’d be great here!”

She smiled warmly, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. Almost like she read your mind and tried to prove she was friendly, she waved to one of the acrobats, and the feeling seemingly disappeared. Odd. But it’s fine, right?

“You, uh… ‘ya good? Can you talk? I have a whiteboard if you want to write instead!” Oh yeah. The meet and greet. With her over enthusiastic eyes, she excitedly awaited a response.

Everyone knows the Dark Carnival as a place of mystery and wonder. The show is constantly on the road, it appears without warning, and leaves without a trace. So it's no wonder that nobody ever connects the strange happenings that follow the carnival's tour path. What the outside world doesn't know is that all of the employees at the carnival have something to hide, and not all of them are as friendly as they seem. Even so, it came as a shock when the first carnival employee disappeared. People don't just leave the Dark Carnival. But there was no evidence of foul play-- or at least none that was officially released.
