My most enjoyable moments in the camps is when the kids demonstrate supporting each other. We will leave after a few months but they will continue a long journey and process to resettlement. I can appreciate the longer term impact of this work when I see participants joyously supporting each other in being safe and successful! I know there are so many issues in the world right now. Brianne hails from the Chicagoland area, and over the last 6 years has developed a deep love of acro-balancing, hula hooping, juggling, poi spinning, and slacklining. She likes to blur the lines between these as much as possible, as she believes magical creative potential exists when two or more established disciplines overlap! Her favorite aspects of these practices are how they require being completely in the present moment, the community that forms around them, and the joy of being creative.
