Former Amtrak cowl entering Houlihan’s Curve by Mike Danneman Via Flickr: “An eastbound Santa Fe intermodal train descends Edelstein Hill and is entering Houlihan’s Curve just above the town of Chillicothe, Illinois, on December 8, 1990. Leading the way is a former Amtrak EMD SDP40 No. 632, rebuilt by Santa Fe into SDF40-2 No. 5264, nose notches and all, aiming into the low winter sun.”
