The movie Stonewall, directed by Roland Emmerich, premiers September 25, 2015. This movie has been the center of controversy regarding its cast and trailer. While the jury is still out on the finished product, the trailer and plot synopsis focuses on a white, cisgender man. Transgender people and people of color, if included at all, seem to be relegated to supporting roles. Message of love for all trans women and trans men.

I totally get why need words like cis and trans in our society at the moment. It sucks that gender is used so much as a tool of oppression. 

But I do not see you as trans women or trans men. I see you as women and men. 

Also please do not feel you have to pass as cis to be a real woman or man. I hope you to feel comfortable and at home in your body. Cis people are not the gatekeepers of 'true gender'.
