(((rant)))) hey!!! we've worked so hard (and are still working) to erase trans shaming!!! you know what's not going to help??? cis shaming!!! if u are trans and want to be happy with the gender you are, do not not not shame a cis person for being happy with their gender!!! when you're criticizing someone, there is no need to add something like "may I add, a cis white man." is that necessary??? no!!!! any person of any gender or sexual orientation can be great people, or be jerks!! at the end of the day, it just defeats the acceptance we're all working for!!!! so do not do it !!!!!

I am so tired of cis-hate.

This is the one thing about the trans community that pisses me off more than anything. We want to be accepted for being ourselves, yet we hate others who are being themselves. I don't really understand how anybody can generalize a population. I've met some pretty shitty cis people and some pretty shitty trans people but also amazing cis and trans people. I never judge anyone by their gender expression or sexual preference or skin color or whatever. Like if you're cis go do you and be happy. If you're trans go do you and be happy. Hating the oppressor isn't solving anything; only showing the world how volatile the trans community can be. Show the world how trans people are tolerant and loving people that accept everybody. If you're a good person, I'll love you. I will not shame anybody based on what label they identify as.

Remember when a widespread population of African Americans preached that all Caucasians were worthless? I don't, but I do remember when a widespread population of women on tumblr preached that all boys were worthless. African Amercans did it right, they understood what stereotyping can do, so they stopped. Many (not all) girls on tumblr do not fully understand how stereotyping hurts everyone. Stereotyping: just don't.
