Just started writing my final paper for English, which is about a fanfiction because my teacher is awesome, and I can't get over the fact that I just wrote the words total power exchange relationship in a literary research paper.

Also if anyone knows how to cite a story on AO3 as a source in mla format pls let me know cause I'm struggling.

Very in depth opinion on abortion, citing laws and other cases, please. I wanna know

Abortion:

I am “pro choice”

In my opinion, it isn’t a living thing until the person who carried it on their body deems it one. What so many people seem to overlook is the fact that NO ONE IS GETTING PREGNANT TO GET AN ABORTION.

The people getting abortions can’t afford a child, their bodies can’t handle having a child, they are too young. People my age are r@ped and are left pregnant. They didn’t choose this. They sure as fuck didn’t ask for it. So why shouldn’t they be able to choose what happens to THEIR bodies.

It’s cruel to only think of the babies life. “At least the babies ok” what about the mother. You know, the person who carried this baby and had to go though that??

Giving birth is PAINFUL, and people are expecting TEN YEAR OLDS, to go though that. People could DIE if they had to go through the process of giving birth. And all people care about is the baby.

“It’s not a fetus, it’s a baby!” That’s up to the person carrying that fetus to decide. It’s not your body, your life, you don’t get any say in it.

And some families don’t want to give their children up to adoption. It’s a hard choice, my dad was adopted. And once again, it’s THEIR DECISION whether they give the child up or not.

I have more to say, but that’s a later time.

Citing laws:

Uhhh I had to look up what you meant, but I think this is just citing your sources? I think you should do that. It isn’t your work, isn’t your words, so you should give credit.

I wasn’t aware this was an issue, but I’ll add something onto this.

The lack of citations is one of my least favorite things about the argument that AI should be used in school. Citing takes a bit more time, but it’s the right thing to do, not just for a grease, but morally too.

If I were to AI generate an essay about how gummy worms are better than gummy bears, and I used evidence from a study, I would have had no idea, because I didn’t write it. I didn’t learn anything from the topic. It could be using a study about gummy bears and sour patch kids, but I wouldn’t be able to check my sources. And it’s. It that hard to cite!!!

An interview/general quote According to (name), a (profession in a field of most likely science), “quote”.

A book: On page (page number), while talking about it (topic), (name) says “”

Or: During (scene) when (name) is (activity), they say “quote” (page number)

It’s not that hard.

In summary: citing isn’t hard, don’t use ai, I think abortion should be legal

You know what I love about Hotch and Garcia’s relationship?

How used to each other they are. How, when Rossi mentions her looks, he is genuinely confused by it.  By all accounts, they shouldn’t STAND each other, what with his anal retentiveness and type CAPITAL A personality and her quirky, loud, WILD sense of style and everything that is cute, but definitely annoys the shit out of Mr. BAU.

But they do...

And it’s a quiet, mutual understanding and respect of each other’s ‘traits’, because they both know. They know that - just like Hotch said to Strauss - his stern, drill-sergeant exterior and frown is as much a shield from the outside world who has disappointed and wounded you too many times to count, as pink dresses with black cats, fluffy unicorn handbags, light-up pens, and colour-coordinated eyeglasses. And they will do anything, EVERYTHING to keep themselves from falling apart. And protect each other before the shield cracks.

They appreciate each other’s talents and skills regardless of the vast difference in their education, class, etc. and they try to respect their boundaries (well, Garcia less so...) despite their differences in absolutely every aspect of their lives. When they overstep, there is no need to ask or give forgiveness because it is understood and implied. And yet they say it.

The weirdest and best part is that you see the implied things as the season change. They grow in their relationship. It wasn’t always like that. They could have stayed in a boss/prison guard - criminal relationship and make each-other absolutely miserable, but they choose not to.

They LIKE each other.
